Choosing Colours

Choosing your colour will probably be the hardest part of ordering, so do take your time and have a good look in your wardrobe to see what would best suit your colour scheme. Your chosen colour name should be written in the text box provided on each custom listing.

We use high quality full grain hides, strong, supple, and guaranteed to wear to aged perfection. They are durable, with either smooth, or *antiqued grained finish (see images). Leather is a natural product, so scuffs, scars and variations will occur across the hide, enhancing its already unique natural beauty. The *antiqued leathers especially show wonderful depth and colour / texture changes across the hide.

Timeless, everyday classics are so called for good reason, they work hard in your wardrobe, enabling you to mix and match across colour ranges. Consider when choosing colours, what the main bulk of your clothing collection contains colour-wise. Obvious 'Classics' are; black and brown, but Inkwell, a deep navy, or Aubergine a warm deep purple and Forest, deep bottle green are equal contenders. Some like eye-popping colours to cheer their step, in which case, a brighter leather is for you. Classic Gnome colours will of course be Chocolate / Victory red / Forest ;)

Our specially selected leathers are supplied to us by trusted merchants who we have used for years, always ensuring consistent quality.
