I bought my first Fairy Steps more than a decade ago. They are worn to a nub but still my most comfortable shoes and the ones that garner the most comments. Not a stitch or rivet has given way in many hundreds of miles of wear. Super comfortable, gives my most mundane, thrown on outfit a bit of pizzazz without being over the top. Newer versions have a tongue, the only improvement I would make to the ones I currently own. I’m sad I can no longer order custom but am lying in wait for the perfect pair to appear for sale. not giving up on the old ones, mind you!
